Current Office:
Councilman Cal Eilrich was sworn in on March 19, 2008. Cal was orignally appointed by the City Council to fill a vacancy in Ward 5 and then was elected in November of 2008. His term expires December 31, 2012.
Professional Biography:
Cal has been a very active businessman in Fernley for over 15 years. He’s been a Cement Contractor, Home Builder and Real Estate Developer. He served 7 terms as President of the Fernley Builders Association and has sat on the Board of Directors for the Builders Association of Western Nevada. Cal has extensive knowledge of development issues in the Northern Nevada and specifically the Fernley area.

After High School in Illinois, Cal was admitted to the University of Arizona to study law, but decided to pursue a business career before graduating.
